This website and the Service
This website tells you about the Templace service (the Service), a cloud recruitment platform for UK temporary recruitment agencies. These terms cover this website only.
Agencies use the Service under our Service Agreement and the other documents published at /terms. If you are a candidate, worker or client of an agency, your relationship is with that agency, and its own terms apply to you.
Using the website
You may view the website, and print or save pages for your own reference or to help you decide whether to use the Service.
We may change, suspend or withdraw the website, or any part of it, at any time, for example for maintenance. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
You must not:
- use the website in a way that breaks the law or harms anyone;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or the Service;
- copy the website's content in bulk, including by automated means;
- send viruses or other harmful code;
- use the contact form to send spam, advertising or abuse.
Information on the website
We try to keep the website accurate and up to date. Its content is general information about the Service and about the law as we understand it. It is not legal, tax or employment advice, and you should take your own advice before acting on it.
Descriptions of features are not part of any contract. What we supply to an agency is set out in its agreement with us.
Where the website shows screens from the Service, any agencies, people and figures in them are made up to illustrate how it works.
The contact form
When you send an enquiry, the form sends it to our own server, which emails it to us. A hidden field and a limit on how often the form can be used help us turn away automated spam. If your message is blocked by mistake, please email or phone us instead.
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer. Our Privacy notice explains how we use the information you give us.
Intellectual property
We, or the people who license material to us, own the copyright and other rights in the website, including its text, design, logos and pictures.
You must not copy, change or reuse the website's content except as these terms allow, or with our written permission. Do not use the Templace name or logo in a way that suggests a link with us that does not exist.
Links to and from this website
Where the website links to other sites, such as gov.uk or ico.org.uk, the links are for your information. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.
You may link to our home page in a way that is fair and lawful. Do not suggest that we endorse you, and do not show our website within a frame on another site.
Our liability
The website is provided free of charge. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss caused by using the website or relying on its content, and we are not liable to a business for any loss of profit, revenue, business or data.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Our liability to agencies that use the Service is set out in the Service Agreement, not in these terms.
Privacy, cookies, changes and law
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking. Its fonts and pictures are served from the site itself. Our Cookies and similar technologies policy and our Privacy notice give more detail.
We may change these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you use the website is the one that applies.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
